Be Wise Series: To be wise in a situation is an action; we sometimes make decisions without thinking entirely through our response; we do reactive instead of proactive thinking. We are quickly making decisions instead of considering the cost, and this practice can have adverse consequences.

A consequence is something that happens as the result of an action. Every action has effects, so considering the potential consequences of an action is an integral part of wise decision-making.

Let's be methodical with our finances. I have seen those with plenty lose it all due to reckless spending and investing, and I have seen those with little gain so much; the difference is the planning, thinking, and listening to Godly counsel.
